All of the original selections in the Video Sections were composed, performed, recorded into Logic Pro X via Universal Audio mic preamps and mixed by me using Waves and UA audio plugins. The remaining videos are VOA productions I recorded and/or mixed in VOA's ST04, ST-B or Cohen Auditorium.
The first piece is my score for the Spitfire Albion One trailer.
I composed and produced the music for the documentary "Daring Woman Doctors (Physicians In The 19th Century)" which was distributed through PBS. I created this short video promo for my website. The full documentary can be viewed at pbs.org
I submitted this score to Spitfire audio in the UK. I used their Labs Choir library and two of Logic's Alchemy sequencing patterns.
This original composition/soundscape is my tribute to one of our country's greatest technical achievements. The edited video is a combination of animation and actual footage. I played the trumpet solo as well as all keyboards into Logic Pro X.
I composed this piece based on a four bar piano ostinato in 4/4. It's sub-divided as a bar of 3/4 and a bar of 5/4. All instruments are from virtual sound libraries and performed by me. The video portion is a collection of drone video I edited together to fit my composition.
I copied these video clips into iMovie, edited them and added my original composition.
This piece is based around percussion and bass sequences, piano and various solo parts. I played the flugel horn part at the end to work with the flute solo. I copied these video clips into iMovie, edited them and added them to my original composition.
This original piece is based around electric guitar loops from Logic Pro X. I played all of the horn parts and recorded all other parts with virtual sound libraries. I created the video portion using multiple drone videos from around the world.
I copied these video clips into iMovie, edited them and added my original composition.

This piece is based around a percussion loop and piano motif that repeats throughout. In the melodic and solo sections I use long tones to create the feeling of falling and floating depicted in the video. I played the trumpet parts and solo using a Schilke B3.
I wrote this music in 1986 as filler for a Persian record I was arranging and engineering in LA. I decided to revisit it, added the middle section and replayed the parts using digital virtual
sound libraries. The accompanying story has been circulating on social media for some time
but I thought it was a good vehicle to showcase the composition. It's called "Let Me Cry"
I put together this pictorial of my parents after their passing. The two pieces of music are my original compositions and were produced in my studio.
This Plain White T's interview/performance was recorded in VOA's digital recording room ST-B. It was meant to be a radio only broadcast. For whatever reason the show's host requested a one camera video shoot and no headphones. I felt the best way to record five instruments in a small room with monitors was in a semi-circle with the floor wedges in the middle. I think it worked pretty well.
